On your way will you even look back here? Will you remember me and all the things we did? I tried so very hard to forget you, but your face is burned in my mind and I can't erase that. I can't erase you. My eyes are scattering across your face and the memories are sinking to the bottom of my mind. Even though it's been so long I can't stop this unnerving nostalgia. Did I ask for an opinion? No, just get me out of here. Get me back to a place where I can think and I can breathe. I'm lying to everyone, I haven't forgotten you (as much as I'd like to). You're like a plague in my mind and I just can't seem to understand your haunting, bittersweet smile. I apologize, I apologize, you're sounding like a broken record in my mind repeating over and over and I can't turn it off. You're the best and the worst song to be echoing here. God, give me one good reason why I can't stop dreaming of this.
