Do you know what it's like to fight a losing battle? I do it everyday, you've got me cornered on all sides. You've made me my own worst enemy. I know what's best for you, but the choices you've made have left you and I stranded in an ocean not meant for sailing on boats with no direction, I can only see you from a distance. My words are heavy on meaning and take so long to reach you across this sea. Why did we leave shore in the first place? You're so far away from me! I'm trying so hard to reach you, but the closer that I get the more you are distracted. There's no ship that could get me closer to you. You've built so many castles in the name of defense, I believed in so much nonsense to keep you in distance. Do you know what it's like to fight a losing battle? I'm losing you....
